Meet Kartiki Bhatnagar, a 12 grader from New Delhi, India who was diagnosed with Thyroid at the early age of 7. Due to her Thyroid, this cause her to develop the disease vitiligo. She started developing white patches on her skin, which resulted in multiple trips to the doctors. In addition, she dealt with classmates not wanting to touch her.
Kartiki was told that her ‘duel skin’ looked like an apple. She is when she saw her vitiligo as a message and started to make different things from her patches.
