Cryotherapy for Eczema?

Cryotherapy for Eczema?
Cryotherapy for Eczema?

Cryotherapy has been described as a method designed to reduce inflammation and pain in arthritis patients. Using liquid nitrogen the 3 minute cold air session supposedly helps you lose weight, eases pain and inflammation, improve sleep and athletic performance and slow down the aging process. Does it actually work? That question is up for debate.

Some use this method to help ease the pain of eczema, psoriasis and arthritis. While it does not come cheap at $90 a session, if it helps ease pain, then it may be worth it. Check out the videos below to see what its like.

  1. I have suffered from eczema around my eyes for four years; I use a medicated cream daily to stop flare ups, but remarkably, since having cryotherapy it’s been itch and pain free. I’ve not needed to use my medication for the first time in a year and a half.

    1. Hey!

I also have eczema and have been trying out Cryotheraphy to help with the itching.

How often did you do it to see results?

I am going in about 2/3 times a month right now but I’m not sure it has been helping me

      1. Hi Kathy,

Thanks for reaching out. I’ve actually never tried Cryotheraphy (I’m a little too afraid). Has it made any difference so far? I know you wrote that you haven’t seen much of a difference but maybe over time? I’m always caution of new things because most of the time they are gimmicks. If I find something that truly works, I will let you know 🙂

        Best,
        Ashley
