The Founder Of Clean Skincare Brand Crude Wants You To Stop Using Soap

Is it time we (skin condition sufferers) move away from soaps? I’ve thought about this for a while and I’m happy to see I’m not the only one…

After discovering Crude, I thought the concept was very interesting. This propelled me to dive deeper and research what Crude was all about.

Denise Cartwright is the founder of Crude Personal Care, a skincare line. She’s a trained cosmetologist, esthetician, and yoga instructor. Throughout her years of working in the beauty industry, she took a particular interest in inflammatory skin diseases.

About five years ago, she started experimenting with soap and oil cleansing on her own skin. She love’s the results so much that she decided to take action and execute her plan.

After using her products on her clients, and that’s when she knew she had something. As they started buying more, she realized it was time to branch out and start her own company.

Crude products are toxic free, have no synthetic chemicals are free from harsh exfoliants. Additionally, the products do not soap instead its formulated with botanical ingredients.

Crude products are direct to consumer and are absolutely killing it in business.

“The advice I would give my my peers is pay attention to the things that make you come alive. ~ Denise Cartwright.

Crude has now grown into a multi-million dollar company that sells products to over 90 countries. Her mantra is to find your genius zone!

But our skin didn’t evolve to need soap, and research shows the repercussions of this invasive, inflammatory cleansing technique — and likely a link between our inflammatory modern skincare regimens and the rise of inflammatory skin diseases like acne, rosacea, psoriasis, and eczema.

Through this process I realized that my skincare problems weren’t being caused by an inherent skin disorder or “skin type,” but by the chronic inflammation, I was inflicting upon my skin with unnecessary synthetic cleansers and exfoliants. As soon as I gave those up, my skin healed itself; something it’s evolved over millions of years to know how to do.  It was as simple as letting nature do her thing, not interfering with her processes. ~ Denise Cartwright
