It’s The Middle of Winter – Open Your Windows

Germs!

It’s officially the middle of winter and germs are lurking all around us. In particular, inside our household. Did you know that indoor air is 2-5 times more polluted than outdoor air? Yes, even in some big cities! In addition, indoor air is dubbed the ‘silent killer’ because of all the chemicals in our products.

This is why it’s very important to keep healthy fresh air flowing by opening your windows every so often (you should also switch to friendlier household products). Keeping the windows open will reduce the risk of potential health hazards such as; sneezing, coughing, chest tightness, muscle aches, allergies, asthma and more.

So how often should you open your windows? Well, that’s up to you. Some open their windows for a few hours depending on the outside weather. Other open their windows for just 15 minutes a day.

Either way, opening windows is a great way to circulate some fresh healthy air and kill off germs!
