The eczema movement is growing exponentially and there’s nothing more exhilarating than knowing that voices are louder than ever and people are listening.
Today September 14, 2018, OFFICIALLY marks the first ever ‘World Atopic Eczema Day!’
So what exactly is ‘World Atopic Eczema Day?’ It’s a call to action. Nearly 20% of children and 10% of adults have eczema worldwide. This is way TOO LARGE of a percentage to have our urgent needs unmet. Those of us with eczema and atopic dermatitis suffered alone and in silence for years, some of us decades. AltogetherEczema wants to change that.
- Identify critical issues
- Share knowledge and experiences
- Deliver action to improve lives and hopes for the future
- To have patients, patient leaders (advocates), caregivers and more work together
- Build and enhance skills
- Help aid those in country, regional and global mobilization
- Promote interaction
‘World Atopic Eczema Day’ is being recognized by The European Federation of Allergy and Airways today. That’s pretty darn epic!
