3 Recipes Using Turmeric

Golden Milk is everywhere! An for the past several years, i’ve passed on this drink, but I’m not realizing that was a mistake as I made it for the first time and loved it.
There are many benefits to golden milk, but the one that caught my eye was seeing how its great for inflammation. Here are 3 recipes you should try out…

Golden Milk Turmeric Latte

Golden Milk Turmeric Latte
Ingredients:
1 cup almond milk
1 tsp ground turmeric plus extra for decoration
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp honey

Directions:
In a small saucepan add the milk and heat over medium heat.
When the milk is simmering, add the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger and honey and mix to combine. Cook for 3 minutes.
Remove from the heat.
Froth it with a milk frother or use a hand blender to create some froth.
Pour in a glass.
Sprinkle with extra turmeric (if using) and serve.

Tumeric & Ginger Milk Elixer 

Ingredients:
1-2 inch pieces of fresh turmeric and ginger
sweetener of choice, i use manuka honey
Milk of choice, i use coconut or almond
Black pepper and any other spices you’d like!
Blend in blender, heat and serve!! YUM!!
